Reminders for seniors

Reminders that
call them back

Your loved one tells Bruno what to remember and when. At that time, Bruno calls them with the reminder. No app to learn, no alarm to set, no sticky note to lose. It works on the phone they already have, landline or cell.

The simplest reminder is a phone call

Phone apps and smart speakers can set reminders, but only if the person is comfortable with them. Many seniors aren't, and don't want to be. Bruno works the way they already do: they make a call, say what they need, and hang up.

They ask, Bruno calls back

Your loved one dials Bruno's number and says what they want to be reminded of, in their own words. Bruno confirms the time, and calls back when it comes.

“Bruno, remind me to take my blood pressure pill at eight.” At 8:00, Bruno calls with the reminder.
“Remind me to call my daughter at three.” At 3:00, Bruno calls back, like they asked.

He remembers things, too

Not everything is a reminder. Some things just need remembering: a doctor's address, a grandchild's birthday, where the spare key is. Bruno keeps it and recalls it whenever they ask, weeks or months later.

“Bruno, what did I tell you about Dr. Patel?” “You told me his office is on Fifth Avenue and your next appointment is May 22nd.”

Theirs, and private

Bruno is your loved one's assistant. Only they can set reminders or ask what he remembers: he checks their phone number on every call. The calls they make to Bruno are private and are not emailed to you.

  • Only their registered number can ask
  • Reminders for medication, appointments, errands, anything
  • No app, no login, no smartphone needed
Questions

What people ask

Does my parent need a smartphone?
No. Bruno works by phone call, so any phone that can make and receive calls works, including a landline or a basic cell phone.
What can they be reminded about?
Anything they ask for: taking medication, leaving for an appointment, calling someone, picking up a prescription, a TV show starting. They say it in their own words and Bruno calls back at that time.
Is Bruno a medication management system?
No. Bruno gives the reminder they asked for, at the time they asked. He doesn't track whether a dose was taken or dispense anything. For a complicated medication schedule, ask their doctor or pharmacist what they recommend, and use Bruno for the reminder calls.
Can I set reminders for them?
Reminders come from your loved one, by talking to Bruno. That's on purpose: Bruno is their assistant, and they stay in charge of what he remembers for them.
What else does Bruno do?
He answers the calls they can't or would rather not take, and emails you a summary. He also looks things up when they ask, like the weather, store hours or last night's score. It's all part of Family Protection, $49 a month with a free 7-day trial.
